When I was vlogging more on this channel, I just sort of talked about it, what I went through, but I didn't really go through the actual process of how it all works. So, if you and your spouse get married prior to him or her leaving for BMT, this will be your process. When your spouse leaves for BMT, he or she will need to take with them certified copies of your marriage certificate, your birth certificate, your social security card, and your driver's license. Some of those you can't get certified copies for, some of them he or she will just need actual original copies. You can't do photocopies. It doesn't work that way. I did not send him with my driver's license. I had to go to the recruiter's office and make a photocopy of it because they considered that, as long as I went to a military-like place and they took care of it, that was considered giving them my driver's license. I guess that's how they had me do it.
